What began as an artisanal etching and painting studio is today an 82,000 sq. ft. production facility capable of producing thousands of screen printed, etched, and decorated bottles daily. Founded in 1989 by Mike Bergin

Our President, Mike Bergin, was born and raised in Napa Valley. In 1989, he founded a small, family-owned artisanal etching and painting studio with a mission to elevate the brands of some of the finest wineries in the world through meticulous bottle decoration.

Screen Printing Innovation Begins in 1995

Six years after our founding, we furthered our mission by adding screen printing capabilities to our offering. We’ve continued to expand to over ninety team members, our production facilities have more than tripled in size, and we’ve established key partnerships within the industry to guarantee no detail is overlooked in the glass packaging finishing & fulfillment process.

For the past 30+ years, Bergin has set the standard for quality. We continuously invest in new screen print technologies and the time it takes to implement them properly. President & CEO

Mike Bergin

Mike, a lifelong tennis player and avid traveller, was born and raised in Napa Valley. After graduating from UC Berkeley and working his way up the commercial banking ladder, he longed to be an entrepreneur. He followed that instinct, returning to Napa to found a highly regarded studio in the artisanal industry of etched and painted wine bottles. With over 30 years growing that business, watching his team succeed brings Mike immense pride. As a critical supplier and partner in his clients’ success, he finds joy in delivering each final package.

Savannah Bergin

Savannah’s first memory of Bergin bottles was in 1st grade, when her father Mike brought sea-themed bottles for the class to paint when learning about oceans. This intrigue for design, creative flow, and artistic expression followed her as she joined the family business in 2016. Working alongside her father has proven to be one of the most fulfilling adventures she’s taken yet. A customer-focused individual with a background in Sales & Marketing, Savannah takes great pride in ensuring that each client’s need is not only met, but exceeded.

Corey Barlow

Corey joined our family in 2000. His work experience at Universal Packaging in BC, Canada, was invaluable when starting a Print Division at Bergin. The love he has for cutting-edge technology and innovation is undeniable. Under Corey’s direction, the company has grown exponentially, positioning Bergin Screen Printing & Etching as a true industry leader. When he’s not making key decisions at work, you can find Corey gardening at home, drinking (and making) wine, or golfing.
Art Director

Eric Sabee

Eric received his BFA in Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design and has been working as a Professional Designer and Illustrator ever since. His background in animation and fantasy illustration adds a level of expertise previously unseen in packaging. His love for making art and bringing wine/spirit labels to life is seen through each project he directs, contributing to our wine label printing Napa solutions. When he’s not creating intricate imagery, Eric loves cooking, reading comic books, and watching anime with his sons.

Jay Griego

Jay has been working in the wine industry for over 13 years, five of which have been spent as a vital asset to the Bergin family. Having previously worked for a glass supplier, he was a natural fit when he joined our sales team. He takes great pride in building long-lasting relationships with our clients, guiding each of their packaging visions, and helping elevate their brands through custom packaging fulfillment. Outside of work, Jay enjoys playing golf and organizing local golf events in Napa.
